Ukrainian authorities have declared the commencement of large-scale manufacturing for an innovative locally engineered defensive UAV to enhance its air defences. The first three producers have begun production, with 11 more getting ready to establish assembly lines, Ukrainian military officials announced this past Friday.

Advanced 'Octopus' System Tested in Battlefield Situations

These UAVs utilize a domestically developed technology called “Octopus” engineered to neutralize Shahed drones. The system has been tested in actual battle and proved effective “during nighttime, amid electronic warfare and flying low,” the ministry stated.
